St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society
The next meeting of St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society will be held in the Parish Centre after 10.30am Mass in St. Fiacre’s Church on Friday morning 8th April. All members are welcome.
St. Patrick’s De La Salle Boys school will hold their annual Family Fun Run on Sunday 17th April from James Stephens Club in Larchfield. Start you training now. More details later.
St Luke’s Hospital will be holding it’s the annual remembrance ceremony for families who have been bereaved by the death of their child through miscarriage, still-birth or early infancy death. Wednesday, April 13th in St Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy, Kilkenny at 7.30pm. Refreshments after the ceremony.

Thinking of Getting Married Soon?
Couples wishing to be married in our parish are asked to note the following:
· Contact the Parish Office (776 4400) as early as possible to book your preferred date. Bookings are on a first-come-first-served basis.
· Please note that it is a civil requirement to inform the Registrar of Births, Marriages and Deaths of your intention to marry at least three months before the date - see www.gro.ie for more information about this.
· Contact the parish where you now reside where pre-marriage papers will be prepared for forwarding to the place of marriage.

Church door collection
The annual Church door collection for children with special educational needs will take place on weekend of the 9th and 10th of April. Your support would be very much appreciated.
The latest edition of the Ossory Times is now available from the sacristies. €2 per copy. The Ossory Times is a quarterly publication by the diocese and features many article of interest from the diocese and parishes.
The new rota has been printed and is available from the sacristies. Please arrange a replacement if you can’t make a particular Mass.
Newpark Close Family Resource Centre.
The Centre is currently offering places on The Rapid Community Project QQI (formally FETAC) level 4 accredited Horticulture course. (40 weeks - 9.30 am to 1.30 pm daily . Kilkenny Coeliac Support Group
The next meeting of the Kilkenny Coeliac Support Group will take place in St.Patrick's Parish Centre Loughboy on Monday April 4th at 8.00pm.
RTE Lyric FM will stage a performance at Loughboy Library on Tuesday April 19th at 3.30pm. The Bealtaine Festival celebrating creativity in older age will be launched during the Alzheimer’s Tea Day on Thurs May 5th.
