Pentecost Sunday, 27th May 2012

Eucharistic Congress Candles
The last of the special Eucharistic Congress Candles are available to buy at the Parish Centre.  Candles cost €2.00 (small) and €2.50 (large).

Foulkstown Cemetery
We are grateful for the shows of support that we have received from parishioners who appreciate our efforts to deter dumping at Foulkstown Cemetery.  Again we appeal to parishioners to keep an eye out for people driving in and dumping household waste and other items.  Please take note of registration numbers of offenders’ vehicles and ring the Parish Office at 056 776 4400.  We will forward the information to the Litter Warden.   Sometime in the future, when our illegal dumpers finally get the message that the waste facilities in Foulkstown are for wreaths and dead flowers from the graves in Foulkstown, we will be able to open the gates once again.

Eucharistic Ministers
We appeal to Eucharistic Ministers to be vigilant when distributing Holy Communion and take notice of anyone who does not consume the host at the altar.    Please refer to the priest those who approach with a pyx looking to take away a host.
Ministers unavailable to attend on a weekday or weekend are asked to arrange a substitute.

The option to book tickets for the RDS has now been extended to 4th June.  See www.iec2012.ie.
Special events ‘Dual Tickets’ for the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony are now available to purchase together for €40 on the Congress booking page www.iec2012.ie.
